Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Sky Systems, Inc. (Skysys). As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop systems and peripherals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Desktop Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the optimal performance of desktop systems and peripherals.
- Asset Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of all desktop assets, including inventory control, asset tracking, and disposal processes.
- Configuration and Deployment: Configure and deploy new desktop systems, peripherals, and software applications, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, using your expertise and knowledge to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise technical information and updates.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all technical support activities are performed in accordance with company quality standards, policies, and procedures, including GxP, GmP, and GDP practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on desktop support and asset management.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of Windows, IOS, and other computer operating systems, as well as experience with Service Now ticketing system, hardware troubleshooting, and software distribution technologies.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
