Audio Visual Equipment Technician

The AV Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless corporate AV/VC operations by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting skills.
This position requires experience with high-profile event support, audio and video conferencing technology, projects, maintenance, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure AV equipment and displays, including audio and video conferencing equipment, distributed audio, digital signage, control systems, and presentation systems.
- Perform structured cabling installation, including pulling, terminating, and testing cat5e/6, video, RGB, HDMI, DVI, and audio cables.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and daily deliverables, including ticket updates and Crestron control program uploads.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock levels, product returns, and DOA issues.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and internal users to address requests and requirements.
- Interface with end-users and vendors to resolve issues and meet client expectations.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, 2-5 years' related experience, and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to build productive relationships.
- A solid understanding of wiring and termination techniques, as well as proper installation methods for AV equipment.
- The ability to work independently, think critically, and exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices.
- A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required.
