AV Technician II Position Overview

This AV Technician II role offers a unique opportunity to work onsite with one of our global clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for corporate AV/VC environments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Analyze complex problems using advanced diagnostic skills, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Support high-profile event installations, audio, video, conferencing technology, projects, maintenance, and support, requiring excellent problem-solving skills.
Scope of the Role

This AV Technician II position involves moderately difficult assignments, requiring judgment in resolving issues. Some guidance on new assignments and occasional checks on daily work may be necessary.

Requirements
  • Participate in the installation of all AV equipment and displays, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Perform structured cabling installation, ensuring reliable connectivity and data transfer.
  • Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and daily deliverables, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with inventory management, including weekly/monthly stock levels, to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Comply with policies, standards, or safety guidelines as required, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2-5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, demonstrating expertise in AV technology.
  • Develop productive internal and external working relationships, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action, promoting independence and self-motivation.
