About the Position

The Global Restoration Initiative seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Conservation Specialist to support the development of the ANR Alliance.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional to join a dynamic team focused on restoring degraded landscapes across Latin America, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term strategic planning for the ANR Alliance
  • Collaborate with project staff to ensure coordination, develop project workplans, and monitor project performance against program objectives
  • Draft semi-annual progress reports and other materials for review by GRI Management and/or final distribution to donors
  • Support the annual international partner meetings and other outreach events of Initiative 20x20 and the ANR Alliance
  • Develop an annual workplan of in-person events/workshops for 20x20 and ANR Alliance to facilitate knowledge sharing

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of conservation principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with restoration initiatives and/or related fields
