Quality Assurance Expert

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our team at Oterra. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with global quality and food safety standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in product development, food safety, quality, or regulatory, and possess excellent analytical skills. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality products and improving processes, we would like to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve vendor and raw material management systems to ensure compliance with global quality and food safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain systems and tools to secure continued compliance.
  • Perform risk assessments of raw materials based on supplier documentation.
  • Complete risk assessment of raw materials and prepare raw material specifications.
  • Maintain requirements for global approval of raw materials.
  • Review vendor/manufacturer approval, risk assessment, evaluation, and/or audit in conjunction with risk assessment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Advanced level of English language proficiency.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product development, food safety, quality, or regulatory.
