Responsibilities:

Ensure the achievement of production goals with safety, quality, and productivity.

Lead teams and supervise manufacturing schedules, resource allocation, and cost control.

Manage auxiliary inventories and team vacation schedules.

Coordinate training and development of employees.

Promote the use of Lean tools (RCA, 5S, Kaizen) and monitor audits.

Focus on continuous improvement, plant modernization, automation, and digitalization of processes.

Lead projects for new equipment and process optimization.

Analyze production data to implement improvements.

Investigate quality issues and support production planning.

Review formulas and monitor the development of new products, ensuring industrial feasibility and scale-up.

Maintain interface with other units and headquarters for process and product improvement.

Qualifications:

Complete Higher Education (preferably Chemical Engineering, Bachelor's in Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry).

Intermediate English.

Knowledge in HSE practices, cost control, inventory control, and good manufacturing practices.

Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards.

Intermediate knowledge of the Office.

Skills in people development and management.

Good verbal and written communication in portuguese and engish.

Interpersonal relationship / ability to navigate various hierarchical levels.

Autonomy and decision-making process.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

On-site work position.

Desirable:

Experience in a leadership position in production or as a Process Analyst in the chemical industry.

Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance issues related to chemical industry operations.

Knowledge of process equipment.

Lean/Six Sigma certification.

Knowledge and experience using OpEx tools (Kaizen, 5S, A3, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, etc).
