Responsibilities
  • Ensure the achievement of production goals with safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Lead teams and supervise manufacturing schedules, resource allocation, and cost control.
  • Manage auxiliary inventories and team vacation schedules.
  • Coordinate training and development of employees.
  • Promote the use of Lean tools (RCA, 5S, Kaizen) and monitor audits.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, plant modernization, automation, and digitalization of processes.
  • Lead projects for new equipment and process optimization.
  • Analyze production data to implement improvements.
  • Investigate quality issues and support production planning.
  • Review formulas and monitor the development of new products, ensuring industrial feasibility and scale-up.
  • Maintain interface with other units and headquarters for process and product improvement.

Qualifications
  • Complete Higher Education (preferably Chemical Engineering, Bachelor\'s in Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry).
  • Intermediate English.
  • Knowledge in HSE practices, cost control, inventory control, and good manufacturing practices.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the Office.
  • Skills in people development and management.
  • Good verbal and written communication in portuguese and engish.
  • Interpersonal relationship / ability to navigate various hierarchical levels.
  • Autonomy and decision-making process.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • On-site work position.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience in a leadership position in production or as a Process Analyst in the chemical industry.
  • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance issues related to chemical industry operations.
  • Knowledge of process equipment.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification.
  • Knowledge and experience using OpEx tools (Kaizen, 5S, A3, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, etc).
