Job Title: Senior Accountant Analyst

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional with experience in accounting and finance, familiar with statutory rules and external audit support. The role is responsible for managing vendor relationships, processing invoices, maintaining records, and providing financial analysis and insights to business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage vendors in our ERP system;
  • Process and record all vendor invoices;
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all invoices received;
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and control PO consumption;
  • Request approval for invoices from PO requesters;
  • Communicate with vendors regarding inquiries and payment terms;
  • Analyze invoices for compliance with local laws and regulations;
  • Prepare support documentation for payments and send withholdings taxes receipts to vendors;
  • Calculate expenses accruals at the end of each month;
  • Provide accurate coding for chart of accounts on all invoices;
  • Prepare reports for reconciliation and ledger accounts and submit them to the accounts manager;
  • Support local external audits by performing monthly vendor payment reconciliations;
  • Collaborate with the Country Controller to analyze processes, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and internal controls;
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining process documentation for compliance and regulatory purposes;
  • Support business partners with ad-hoc analysis and provide information for monthly and weekly cash flow preparation;
  • Participate in Actuals variances analysis and explanation, as well as assist with SOX compliance and other country equivalents;

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Account Payable senior in a multinational company;
  • Familiarity with Argentinian, Mexican, Brazilian, Chilean, and Argentine statutory rules and external audit support;
  • Experience with SOX compliance and other country equivalents;
  • ERP experience with Netsuite and Oracle preferred;
  • Results-driven and business intelligent oriented, willing to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines;
