We are seeking a Production Manager I to fill the leadership role in our production team in Nova Mutum, Brazil.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality, quantity, cost, and deadlines standards set by the company.
About this Job:This is a management position that requires strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
The Production Manager I will oversee daily production, forecast needs (labor and raw materials), and ensure preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage area costs, control production scheduling, product quality, and requirements for labor, materials, and inventory.
- Supervise a team of operators and other production professionals, applying management strategies to ensure product quality.
- Plan daily production, analyze product demand, and determine necessary auxiliary resources.
- Establish actions to meet productivity, yield, and fixed cost control goals.
- Manage technical indicators of the area.
- Ensure information accuracy and updates on the area's visual management dashboard.
- Bachelor's Degree completed in Administration, Economics, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Food Chemistry, or related fields.
- Strong management, planning, and control skills.
- Knowledge of technical production indicators.
