Accounting Leadership Role

As a key member of our financial team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

  • Perform the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies, including detailed analysis and recommendations.
  • Manage the entity-wide Balance Sheet Reconciliation Process (BSRS) and oversee reconciliation and GL review processes/projects involving data manipulation and spreadsheets.
  • Calculate amounts and raise relevant general ledger journals for specific accounts.
  • Contribute to system changes and transformation projects, implementing new reporting requirements and liaising with auditors and facilitating their requests.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant with expertise in IFRS and Bacen GAAP.
  • Strong understanding of business activities, products, processes, and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, tact, and diplomacy for effective collaboration with other individuals and teams.
  • Strong time management and prioritization of work tasks, with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and rapid learning capability.
  • Experience working in an accounting role for a financial institution.
