Sourcing Expert

The primary responsibility of this role is to procure goods and services from suppliers. Key duties include preparing sourcing documents, obtaining supplier interest, compiling bid documents, issuing RFQs, and verifying bid completeness.
- Collaborate with package managers and engineers to ensure all requirements are met.
- Obtain supplier interest and signed non-disclosure agreements prior to issuing RFQs.
- Compile all necessary documents associated with the scope of work before issuing RFQs.
- Issue RFQs to the project bidder list and prepare for bidder qualification.
- Expedite suppliers for timely submission of quality bids within the due bid date.
- Verify the completeness of bids and/or disqualify incomplete bids; disburse technical bids to designated package engineers for review.
- Organize and conduct bid clarification meetings (when required) with suppliers, separating technical and commercial sessions where applicable.
- Negotiate winning contracts per project requirements; engage legal and contract managers to support terms and conditions when necessary.
- Prepare commercial bid evaluations of bids per scope; gather technical bid evaluations and prepare recommendations for award to present to PMT for acceptance.
- Formalize purchase requisitions through procurement tools; expedite internal approvers for timely PO issuance.
- Issue and expedite supplier PO acknowledgments.
