Job Description

As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

This involves collaboration with various departments, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to align project timelines and resources.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project data and monitor project progress.

You will identify deviations to the baseline and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

You will prepare regular progress reports, including schedule updates, earned value analysis, and performance metrics.

You will facilitate planning meetings and workshops to ensure stakeholder alignment.

You will ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project planning within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
