Job Summary
The Major Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving company revenue and growth. As a seasoned sales professional, they are responsible for leading and driving sales engagements, leveraging their expertise to solve critical challenges facing our customers' secure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of 20 named accounts, balancing existing customers with white space opportunities, and collaborate with our partner community to access new accounts while upselling and cross-selling existing customers.
- Develop tailored account plans for each named account, identifying add-on opportunities and driving complex sales cycles.
- Bring consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors, focusing on creating and implementing strategic account plans for enterprise-wide deployments.
- Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends, and effectively position Thales' cybersecurity solutions to meet customer needs.
- Surpass sales targets, consistently exceeding revenue expectations, and actively displace competing technologies to expand market share.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Bilingual in Portuguese and English.
- 9+ years of experience evangelizing enterprise security technology, with a strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and channel-centric go-to-market approaches.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
- A successful track record selling complex solutions, with a highly competitive and adaptive mindset.
