Job Summary

The Major Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving company revenue and growth. As a seasoned sales professional, they are responsible for leading and driving sales engagements, leveraging their expertise to solve critical challenges facing our customers' secure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of 20 named accounts, balancing existing customers with white space opportunities, and collaborate with our partner community to access new accounts while upselling and cross-selling existing customers.
  2. Develop tailored account plans for each named account, identifying add-on opportunities and driving complex sales cycles.
  3. Bring consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors, focusing on creating and implementing strategic account plans for enterprise-wide deployments.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends, and effectively position Thales' cybersecurity solutions to meet customer needs.
  5. Surpass sales targets, consistently exceeding revenue expectations, and actively displace competing technologies to expand market share.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Bilingual in Portuguese and English.
  3. 9+ years of experience evangelizing enterprise security technology, with a strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and channel-centric go-to-market approaches.
  4. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
  5. A successful track record selling complex solutions, with a highly competitive and adaptive mindset.
