Job Opportunity
The First Mile team is seeking a Senior Transport Manager to drive excellence in logistics operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
This role will serve as a critical liaison between the Business, Seller Operations, and Routing teams, reporting directly to the First Mile Leader.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to streamline processes, create value, and reduce costs.
- Benchmark against industry standards to optimize routing systems and network performance.
- Design a resilient logistics network to accommodate growth and vehicle availability.
- Collaborate with Program Managers to expand FM services.
- Align capacity needs with logistics partners and identify new partnerships when necessary.
- Build strong relationships with operational leaders and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve the customer experience.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements in daily operations.
- Evaluate logistics partner performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Determine optimal transportation routes and modes to minimize costs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in employee management and performance improvement.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Logistics; MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related fields.
- Experience in scouting and developing delivery partners.
- Expertise in complex transportation operations.
- Ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
