As a skilled mortgage professional, you will play a key role in helping customers achieve their homeownership goals. Your responsibilities will include sourcing new business through realtor and builder contacts, working closely with customers to understand their financial circumstances, and identifying suitable mortgage loan options.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solicit first mortgages from various sources, including realtors, builders, and developers. Collaborate with customers to determine the most suitable mortgage loan based on their financial situation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources, including regular contact with realtors and meetings with builders at job sites. Participate in industry events and trade shows to build connections and expand your network.
  • Collect and analyze applicant financial data, assess eligibility for a loan, and provide necessary information to customers. Identify customer needs and recommend financial products that meet those needs, clearly explaining the risks and benefits involved.
  • Engage in persuasive sales activities to encourage potential customers to work with the company, cross-promoting other services and financial products as applicable.
  • Monitor originated loans, gathering and analyzing pertinent financial and credit data, ensuring compliance with loan terms, and maintaining open communication with customers throughout the process.

The ideal candidate will possess recent residential mortgage lending experience, excellent relationship-building skills, and a strong understanding of compliance regulations.
