Role Overview

This position involves performing daily financial functions for the Individual Markets Product Finance NRO to achieve departmental objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial data recording, reporting, and controlling accounting information related to the Individual Markets Business.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Others: Partner with business operations groups, reporting teams, and Corporate Financial Management and Control to establish an in-depth understanding of Whole Life, Term, Disability, Variable Life, and Annuity products, functions, and regulations affecting the business and its subsidiaries.
  • Adapt to Change: Independently implement new products and administration/general ledger systems, achieving and maintaining systems expertise to ensure accurate conversion and coordination among new, enhanced, or emerging systems technology.
  • Analytical Thinking: Analyze relationships among several components of a problem, identify causal links, and apply solutions independently. Anticipate problems and propose preventive measures. Analyze trends and identify causes, alerting management and implementing solutions within authorized limits.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Compiling daily administration system processing to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
  • Preparing Oracle journal entries supporting documentation.
  • Completing financial analysis and coordinating information flow to comply with corporate monthly/quarterly/year-end financial requirements.
