Description: In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our company's vision of a world with zero accidents, zero emissions, and zero congestion. As a Senior Customs Analyst, your expertise will play a critical part in enhancing the benefits of special regimes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reports on customs costs for international transactions.
  • Pursue opportunities to minimize duty expenditures through optimal utilization of special regimes (e.g., RECOF, Drawback).
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customs brokers, internal partners, and other stakeholders, guiding import/export transactions and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce duty expenditures, enhance free trade agreement qualification, and automate processes.
  • Monitor and coordinate activities related to import and export flows to ensure adherence to deadlines and legal standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Customs Costs and Finance teams to manage import cost models, tax accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare high-quality financial statements, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses related to customs operations.
  • Administer programs such as RECOF-SPED, Drawback, Ex-Tariff, and similar initiatives, identifying new FTA or tax suspension opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Accounting, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in customs or trade compliance, including import and export operations.
  • A proven track record with Brazilian special regimes (preferably RECOF) and customs financial controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills, working knowledge of SAP, Siscomex, and data-visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • A solid understanding of HS classification, FTA rules, valuation, and export-control concepts.
  • Intermediate English proficiency; Portuguese native or advanced.
