Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

At Palo Alto Networks, we're on a mission to protect our digital way of life. As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering new clients in our growing territories and leading the charge in sales performance.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed account profiles, including organizational charts, to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate communication on strategic and tactical issues facing our clients and partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
  • Maintain continuity and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations that impact our target markets.
  • Develop market strategies and goals for each product and service, understanding the strategies, goals, and objectives of our accounts.
  • Lead the coordination of account strategy and tactics for our sales support team, ensuring a unified approach to sales support.
  • Take full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of sales cycles from initial contact through the procurement process.
Requirements:
  • Exceeding sales quota as a Major or Large Account Manager, Channel Account Manager, or Territory Account Manager for a multinational company.
  • IT sales experience as a direct contributor.
  • Deep understanding of channel partners and a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
  • Knowledgeable in Complex Solution Sales methodology.
  • Have sold network infrastructure-based security appliances, including firewalls, SSL/IPSEC VPNs, security proxies, and caches.
  • Practical knowledge of routing and switching products installed adjacent to Palo Alto Networks appliances.
  • In-depth knowledge of how specific industries might leverage security solutions.
