Compliance Lead for EMEA Region

Job Description:
  • The Compliance Lead for the EMEA region will serve as a strategic business partner, developing a deep understanding of the company's operations and proactively identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
  • This role will act as a liaison between global compliance and legal colleagues, business stakeholders, and functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • The Compliance Lead will be responsible for managing a pipeline of third-party due diligence to ensure timely and thorough anti-bribery and corruption compliance in accordance with company policies.
  • This role will also drive data privacy compliance efforts in EMEA, ensuring adherence to GDPR and other privacy regulations.
  • Additional responsibilities include supporting trade compliance controls related to sanctions, anti-boycott regulations, and deemed exports within the region.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in law, finance, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a legal and/or compliance role with a strong working knowledge of anti-bribery and corruption, privacy, and/or trade compliance is necessary.
  • Fluent English is required; proficiency in another EMEA language (e.g., French, German, Arabic) is a plus.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
