Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Lead to join our team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the lead for compliance matters in the EMEA region, working closely with global compliance and legal colleagues.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the organization's operations and proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Continuously assess and address compliance vulnerabilities to drive continuous program improvement.
  • Manage a pipeline of third-party due diligence to ensure timely and thorough anti-bribery and corruption compliance.
  • Drive data privacy compliance efforts in EMEA, ensuring adherence to GDPR and other privacy regulations.
  • Support trade compliance controls related to sanctions, anti-boycott regulations, and deemed exports within the region.
  • Support regional compliance audits as needed.
  • Conduct and assist with internal compliance investigations when required.
  • Enhance compliance awareness through training and communication initiatives.

Some travel may be required.

Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in law, finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a legal and/or compliance role with a strong working knowledge of anti-bribery and corruption, privacy, and/or trade compliance.
  • Fluent English is required; proficiency in another EMEA language (e.g., French, German, Arabic) is a plus.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, able to handle confidential information with discretion, and demonstrate a can-do attitude.
  • A strategic thinker who is goal- and team-oriented, adept at managing complex compliance issues with professionalism, assertiveness, and proactivity.
  • A practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to balance legal complexities with business needs.
