About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic Brazil Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with existing members and partner with other departments to deliver high-quality financial reporting, provide day-to-day accounting assistance, and support finance-related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial accounting processes including accruals, provision calculations, postings, reconciliations, and financial closing activities on a monthly and yearly basis.
  • Prepare financial reports for Epic UK and US.
  • Coordinate annual statutory audits.
  • Contribute to system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and administration including depreciation, asset tracking, and leases.
  • Handle tax declarations, statistical report preparation, and submissions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for accounting or transactional queries from the business side.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, additional languages are a plus.
  • 3-5 years of recent and relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting with an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting processes, ERP systems (Senior Sistemas and Workday are preferred), and MS Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience handling external auditor requests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
