About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics and Trade Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods across borders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate import, export, and local logistics shipments to ensure timely execution and precise shipment tracking.
  • Monitor and coordinate carrier capacity across various freight categories to support efficient and timely transportation.
  • Drive supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize logistics operations.
  • Leverage transportation expertise to develop strategies that enhance logistics flow.
  • Actively manage plant requirements and oversee the end-to-end transport of materials for local and international deliveries.
  • Deliver operational improvements using data-driven approaches to root cause analysis and solution design.
  • Work within tight deadlines to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying activities performed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations and tariffs to minimize risks and avoid delays.
  • Implement best practices for data management and analytics to enhance the accuracy and utility of logistics and supplier information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Administration, Foreign Trade, or related field.
  • Previous experience in transport, logistics, and customs operations.
  • Proficiency in S4Hana, SAP/TM, Microsoft Office Package, and PowerBI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and special regimes.
