Renewable Energy Technology Project Manager in SAP Ecosystem

Siemen's Gamesa, a world leader in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of wind turbines, seeks an experienced project manager to join its Global Spare Parts & Supply team. As a key member of our dynamic organization, you will be responsible for providing and improving our internal business flow of spare parts between new and legacy systems in Brazil, while the rollout of our new SAP S/4HANA platform is implemented globally.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work closely with our global and local supply chain teams in Brazil, utilizing your expertise in IT process optimization within SAP environments. Your primary tasks will include taking charge of the development and implementation of relevant processes and IT tools, bridging the gap between existing processes and the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, and turning defined improvement areas into smaller projects for total management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Optimizing IT processes within own areas by developing requirement specifications, solution testing, documentation, and training of key users
  • Working closely with business process specialists and supporting them with best-practice SAP solutions to enable world-class performance
  • Collaborating with IT offshore partners and external software providers for alignment on requirement specifications for requested solutions
  • Bridging gaps between existing processes and implementation of SAP S/4HANA
  • Managing projects from planning to implementation

This role presents a unique opportunity to take part in a large, global project introducing the SAP S/4HANA ERP system across all SGRE entities. Your ideas will have a direct impact on how our business operates today. As part of a diverse workforce, you must be an outstanding communicator who can work effectively with different nationalities and organizational levels.

About You

We are seeking an individual with a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Marketing, and solid relevant business development experience from a consultancy firm or larger international company. A strong background in SAP processes, table structures, and functional specifications for developers is essential. Documented experience in project management concerning E-commerce integration to ERP systems, SAP SD/LE processes, and EDI is also required. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must, and knowledge of other main languages would be an advantage.
