Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Demand Planning Leader to join our team. As a key member of the Commercial organization, this individual will be responsible for leading all regional forecasting efforts across various time horizons.

About the Role

  • This role involves developing and implementing demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation, including near-term executional demand control, 24-month rolling operational forecast, yearly AOP, and five-year strategic plan.
  • The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for reviewing historical sales trends, researching demand drivers, preparing forecast data, reviewing statistical forecast models, integrating market data, and evaluating forecast results to determine the monthly Consensus forecast.
  • This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated Sales and Marketing assumptions.
  • The Demand Planning Leader will utilize a collaborative approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • This role involves identifying significant variances to prior forecasts for discussion during the monthly IBP demand review process.
  • The successful candidate will use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
  • This role requires developing and maintaining required reporting, such as accuracy metrics and projections, to assist in the Consensus process.
  • The Demand Planning Leader will interface with Commercial and Customer Fulfillment Teams to ensure customer-provided forecasts and input are incorporated into the Consensus plan.
