Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Research Engineer, your contributions will include:
1. Leadership: Provide technical guidance and collaborate with fellow engineers to refine methodologies and advance our technology stack.
2. Team Management: Oversee a small team of software engineers, fostering a high-performance culture while supporting their professional growth and managing performance expectations.
3. Development and Delivery: Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, ensuring the creation, testing, and delivery of high-quality solutions.

Qualifications:
Essential skills include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, particularly in machine learning and natural language processing.
- Proven experience in leading technical initiatives within a software engineering context.
- Familiarity with Python development stacks and ecosystems, with knowledge of additional programming languages being advantageous.
- Capability to integrate and deploy machine learning techniques into existing systems.
- Proficiency in the Python data science stack, including libraries such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, and others.
- Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Experience with cloud-native applications and system monitoring, preferably in AWS or Azure.
- A strong understanding of DevOps principles and agile methodologies.
- An eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with probabilistic models and the mathematical foundations of machine learning.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in integrating machine learning solutions into production-grade software, with knowledge of ModelOps and MLOps principles.
- Background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and related tasks.
- Hands-on experience with additional programming languages such as Java or TypeScript.
