Job Description

The General Manager LATAM is responsible for leading commercial activities in the region to ensure revenue, profit and customer satisfaction goals are met.

This role oversees key performance metrics including funnel management, value selling and long-range planning.

The successful candidate will develop and lead a team of Regional Sales Managers to achieve revenue targets in a complex selling environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed plan for growth in Latin America for new and existing business accounts.
  • Coach, develop and provide ongoing feedback and guidance on professional development for the commercial organization in Latin America.
  • Create and execute actionable strategies for the commercial team based upon sales data analytics and market insights.
  • Negotiate contracts with hospitals, labs and health systems.
  • Drive physician demand and adoption of new diagnostic methods.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience or Master's/Doctoral degree with 12+ years of experience.
  • 4+ years managing people.
  • Expertise selling premium products.
  • Strong track record of success in both capital equipment and reagent sales.
  • Skilled using a CRM application such as Salesforce.com.
  • Must speak Portuguese, Spanish and English fluently.
