Job Overview

The role of Trainee Business Development Manager is ideal for those eager to begin their careers in the Commercial sector of the iGaming industry.

This comprehensive training programme provides invaluable on-the-job training, allowing you to develop your skills and gain experience in a real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maximize the impact of new game releases by ensuring widest possible distribution of content in most commercially advantageous positions.
  2. Understand, communicate, and adapt game launch plans in accordance with individual titles' targets and USPs.
  3. Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure all preparatory work for game launches is in place.
  4. Review overall studio performance, identifying opportunity gaps in terms of content, operators, and market trends.
  5. Embodiment and curate a Studio 'personality', being the main commercial representative of Studios in regular day-to-day interaction with customers.
  6. Analyse market intelligence, review business development, and present the Studio and their products/services.
What You'll Be Doing
  1. Business Strategy Support: Aid in research and creation of business development strategies, assessing new markets, products, and potentials for organizational growth.
  2. New Business Identification: Identify and target new potential clients and partnership opportunities under the mentorship of experienced BDMs.
  3. Lead Qualification: Evaluate and qualify leads, assessing startups' viability and reviewing funding possibilities.
  4. Market Intelligence Analysis: Understand the market better by decoding trends, competitors' moves, and other industry insights.
  5. Presentation Skills: Participate in client meetings and presentations to develop public speaking and persuasion skills.
  6. Deal Closure: Grasp the art of negotiation and learn steps involved in successfully finalizing business agreements.

This is a training role, where you will experience a similar working environment to a full-scale BDM, but your key objective will be to learn and develop your skills in these areas.
