Chief Commercial Officer Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to join our management team as Chief Commercial Officer. As the key commercial strategist, you will be responsible for driving revenue generation through business development and account management functions, while collaborating with marketing to devise the company's marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy to meet revenue objectives and business goals in collaboration with the CEO.
  • Collaborate with marketing and the CEO to devise the company's marketing strategy, including events, promotions, merchandise, and communications.
  • Lead the account management and sales team, ensuring end-to-end execution of outreach, pitching, alignment, negotiation, closing, and implementation of deals.
  • Manage and optimize a robust after-sales process to deliver strong customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Track and analyze performance against revenue targets and develop action plans to ensure objectives are met.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders within the organization and the industry.
  • Represent the Malta branch on behalf of the organization at MBR meetings.
  • Act as a key ambassador at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications and Experience:

Core Experience & Professional Background:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial/leadership role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the iGaming industry.
  • 10+ years of experience working with sales/commercial, preferably within the gambling industry.
  • Proven work experience as a CCO, Sales Director or similar leading commercial position.
  • Proficient MS Office and Excel user.

Leadership and Personal Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills with extensive contacts within the iGaming industry.
  • Proven leader with extensive experience in driving team performance and keeping teams motivated.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with focus on making informed decisions.
  • Remarkable self-motivation and strong drive.
