About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drilling and Workover Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Drilling & Workover department, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the operations of contract drilling or workover rigs engaged in carrying out programmed work.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and oversee all operations performed on our wells, ensuring that they are carried out safely and efficiently.
  2. Make recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered, ensuring that the best possible outcomes are achieved.
  3. Coordinate deliveries of materials to the well to ensure that they are available when required, minimizing downtime and delays.
  4. Ensure that the contractor meets all requirements of their contract, including safety and quality standards.
  5. Work with Drilling and Workover engineers to ensure that modern drilling practices are followed, and that our operations are aligned with industry best practices.
  6. Approve contractor's daily tour report, ensuring that all activities are accurately recorded and reported.
  7. Ensure that contractor rig and equipment are properly maintained to avoid downtime, and that our blowout prevention standards are met in all respects.
  8. Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Supt., ensuring that our operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
Benefits
  1. Monthly Base Salary – aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  2. Monthly Overbase – 25% of your monthly base salary.
  3. Benefits Supplement – 20% of your monthly base salary, after 3 years of service, reward increases to 25% of base, after 6 years 30% of base, and after 12 years 35% of base.
  4. Severance Package (2-year vest period) – year 2 to 5: 2 week's pay for each year of service, Year 6+: 4 week's pay for each year after.
  5. Employment Tax – if employee chooses to separate themselves from their 'home country' for income tax purposes, most will not be required to pay 'home country' income taxes.
  6. Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) (eligible after 12 months of service) – maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay with a cap, 20% share discount.
  7. Incentive Plan – annual; based on performance, approx. 1.8x monthly base salary.
  8. Travel Allowance – annual; approx. $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
  9. Vacation & Paid Holidays – 38 vacation days / 4 travel days / 11-13 paid holidays.
  10. Medical/Dental Plan – complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care/facilities for employee and eligible family members.
  11. Educational Assistance Plan (EAP) – Out of Kingdom Assistance: 90% of expenses with a maximum per child, lesser of 5x monthly base salary or the company max ($48.5K).
  12. Settling in Allowance – one-time payment; Family Status - 100% of monthly base salary; Single/Bachelor Status – 60% of monthly base salary.
