Animal Protein Category Manager

We are seeking a seasoned category manager to lead our protein procurement initiatives.
- This is a critical role that requires expertise in protein sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management.
As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality protein products while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced leadership, project management, and analytical skills, as well as experience working in an animal protein sourcing environment.
Responsibilities- Protein Sourcing:
- Develop and execute strategies for procuring high-quality protein products from trusted suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery of products.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Food Science.
- 15+ years of experience in an animal protein sourcing role for a CPG company operating in a direct manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in protein sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Advanced leadership, project management, and analytical skills.
