As a seasoned financial expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's success by overseeing all aspects of accounting and finance. Your expertise will be instrumental in streamlining our financial processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all transactions, and providing actionable insights to inform strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage department expense approvals and ensure timely payment of bills.
  • Prepare and audit bank deposits, credit card payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Reconcile credit card statements, bank accounts, and loans to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Enter bank, credit, and loan transactions into our accounting system and maintain the balance sheet.
  • Prepare regular P&L reports, budget reports, and agency-specific financial reports/audits.
  • Act as a primary member of the management team, supporting the CEO with strategic decision-making and providing backup support to operations and client services teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper using QuickBooks, including payroll.
  • Proven track record of attention to detail and high level of accountability for accuracy and consistency within organizational process flow.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with executives and colleagues at all levels.
  • Verifiable references from supervisors within the past 3 years, including most recent employer.
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently (C1 level or better).
Benefits:
  • $600-$900 USD per month (dependent on experience), paid part-time.
  • Flexible schedule available during normal business hours of 7am-6pm Pacific Time.
  • Remote office work environment with Zoom meetings and regular contact with crews.
