Commercial Contracts Specialist Role

This role involves reviewing and creating commercial contracts for our North American business. You will assist in executing our commercial contracts and advise internal stakeholders on contract terms and conditions that may impact their business areas, handling various levels of contract complexity.

Main responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating agreements related to commercial transactions, providing legal advice to company management and business groups, building and maintaining relationships with key legal stakeholders, collaborating with stakeholders and Global Capability Owners to understand business priorities, and mitigating risks associated with contracts.

The ideal candidate will have a law degree and license to practice law, with 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting. They should also have extensive experience in commercial law, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, as well as proficiency in drafting various contracts in English.

The successful candidate will be able to identify and communicate legal risks to support business decision-making, manage and supervise legal teams or paralegals, and demonstrate strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities across geographies.
