Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and experienced category professional to lead our Regional Category Management efforts in the Latin America region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive category strategy that drives business results, improves quality and service, and reduces costs.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the category landscape, including purchase spend, supplier performance, and market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, procurement teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Lead the development and implementation of category strategies, including supplier negotiation and relationship management.
  • Monitor and analyze category performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing initiatives to drive results.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in category management, with a focus on regional or global roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
