We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Cloud Solutions Architect. As a key member of our Professional Services group, you will be responsible for interacting with different sales areas, helping design solutions according to customer requirements.
This role may require up to 50% travel and involves working directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide service/solution recommendations. You will also lead solution and pricing reviews with leadership and transition projects from pre-sales to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with sales teams to provide service scope, sizing, and proposals
- Design and deliver cloud-based solutions that meet customer needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years experience in IT operations, services, or consulting
- Advanced understanding of public cloud services and costing models
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data center operations and co-location services
- Fluent in Portuguese
- Fluent in Spanish is desired
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in an engineering discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in IT operations, services, or consulting
- At least 3 years experience in understanding of services business model or services leadership
Daily Work:
- Working directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide service/solution recommendations
- Interaction with sales teams to provide service scope, sizing, and proposals
- Leading solution and pricing reviews with leadership and transitioning projects from pre-sales to delivery
Skills Needed:
- Excellent understanding of customer needs and sales stakeholders
- Hands-on experience delivering services/support on hybrid cloud/AI solutions
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud solution design, architecture, migration, and cost optimization
- Experience with on-prem file and block storage (required)
- Experience with ONTAP storage features and migration (desired)
- Knowledge of distributed storage solutions (desired)
