We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nursing Labor Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing labor costs and optimizing staff scheduling to ensure efficient use of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee labor spend and process payroll in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to understand their needs and preferences regarding scheduling and timekeeping.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in staffing levels and cost management.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize overtime and agency spend while maintaining quality care standards.
- Leverage technology to streamline labor management processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
