About the Role

We're looking for talented writers to lead our documentation efforts and empower users with high-quality content.

This is not a traditional technical writing role, offering the opportunity to participate in product strategy, contribute to design and user experience, and collaborate with colleagues to establish documentation as a core engineering discipline.

As a key team member, you'll be responsible for creating and maintaining software documentation, working closely with engineers, and engaging with user communities to ensure our documentation meets their needs.

To succeed, you'll need a strong background in technical writing, a programmer's mindset, and a passion for community engagement. We value excellence in documentation, sympathy for open-source challenges, and fascination with software technology.

Skill Level: All levels available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and improve software documentation
  • Work with engineering team members to make effective documentation contributions
  • Influence product development as an expert user
  • Engage with user communities to ensure documentation meets their needs
  • Encourage community engagement and contribution to documentation
  • Standardize content structure, presentation, style, and language across products
  • Collaborate with documentation peers to advance the state of documentation
