Compensation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, and contributing to payroll reporting and auditing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payrolls accurately and on time, including base pay, overtime, bonuses, and deductions;
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, tax setups, and direct deposit information;
  • Ensure payroll compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including tax filings, wage laws, and garnishments;
  • Support internal and external payroll audits by providing documentation and resolving discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
