This entry-level position in a laboratory setting offers hands-on experience while contributing to environmental conservation.
Duties and Responsibilities- General laboratory operations, including sample preparation and analysis.
- Document work performed in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare reagents and media for testing.
- Maintain laboratory instruments and workspace.
- Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain sample custody, control, and hazardous waste disposal.
- High School diploma or GED; chemistry or physical science degree preferred.
- 2+ years of work in a laboratory setting preferred.
- Experience working with hazardous chemicals.
- General knowledge of chemistry and lab analysis operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
