Once an opening becomes available, your application is automatically sent to the recruiter for that position.OverviewThe Lab Technician Supports and facilitates daily laboratory operations; performs sample analyses in accordance with National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference (NELAC) standards and in compliance with EPA regulations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforms general laboratory operations, including preparation and analysis of samplesDocuments work performed in accordance with established protocols; compiles analysis data into lab reportsPrepares reagents and various media for testingPerforms routine daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of laboratory instruments and workspaceReviews SOPs and guidance documents to ensure all procedures accurately reflect laboratory practices and meet NELAC and/or EPA requirementsMaintains sample custody, control, and hazardous waste disposalPerforms other job-related duties as assignedQualificationsEducation Requirement: High School diploma or GED; chemistry or physical science degree preferred2+ years of work in a laboratory setting preferredExperience working with hazardous chemicalsGeneral knowledge of chemistry and lab analysis operations and lab safetyProficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including MS Word and ExcelGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-taskGood attention to detailAbility to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentationEmployee BenefitsProfit Sharing Program = Quarterly Bonuses

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
