Job Opportunity: Procurement Packaging Specialist LAC

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to drive business growth and excellence in packaging strategies. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define and execute market-specific category strategies, ensuring alignment and value delivery.

You will lead the execution of these strategies, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments. This role requires effective collaboration with R&D, operations, finance, and global procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning end-to-end category excellence, maximizing procurement value for paper categories.
  • Partnering with global category leads on sourcing activities, providing market data and insights.
  • Executing category strategies, monitoring progress, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Developing relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers to gain insights and add value.
  • Improving market performance through effective procurement strategies.
  • Managing contracts, incorporating market-specific requirements, and reviewing agreements.
  • Identifying and mitigating strategic and sourcing risks.
  • Establishing supplier relationships, ensuring performance standards, and driving supplier development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement packaging within FMCG/Spirits sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead projects, negotiate with suppliers, and develop procurement strategies.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-border teams.
