  • The Quality and Engineering Specialist plays a vital role in overseeing complex quality control processes.
  • They lead strategic improvements and ensure adherence to industry's best practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee quality control and engineering processes for landing gear maintenance
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality improvement programs
  • Provide technical guidance to analysts ensuring compliance with internal procedures and manuals
  • Perform advanced analysis of data, lead root cause investigations, and drive corrective actions
  • Manage compliance with aerospace regulations, quality certifications, and approved technical data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless quality management
  • Support internal and external audits providing technical support during inspections
  • Develop and report on key quality performance indicators identifying areas for process optimization and cost reduction
  • Serve as a technical reference in strategic decision-making regarding quality and process improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience working in an aeronautical industry with quality and/or engineering
  • Strong experience with quality auditing processes and supplier qualification
  • A degree in Technical or related field preferably followed by a master's degree
