The Workplace Experience Partner is a crucial role responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the São Paulo Publishing Office and eSports Arena. This position will play a key part in creating an environment where all employees can thrive.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the office and arena, collaborating with stakeholders to develop initiatives that optimize workplace efficiency.
- Negotiate with local vendors to ensure contractors meet required standards while working within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain facilities and repairs, aligning with local and leadership guidelines, to adhere to high standards.
- Collaborate with local leaders to drive effective programs and provide insight on workplace needs.
- Welcome visitors and out-of-town employees, managing visitor passes, and developing processes for the eSports arena.
- Support space planning and relocations by working with employees to understand their needs and implementing necessary changes.
- Perform environmental health and safety compliance activities and maintain office procedure documentation.
- Assist with local events and large-scale initiatives, including esports tournaments and cultural celebrations reflecting Brazilian holidays and traditions.
- Support regional operations, including recruiting coordination, employer branding, marketing initiatives, and travel logistics management for local employees.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience providing facilities or maintenance services in a busy organization.
- Experience managing contractors and suppliers, including monitoring service standards and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Detailed understanding of Brazilian labor law (CLT), adapting workplace practices to remain compliant.
- Expertise in event management with high-quality, compliant experiences.
- Strong work ethic with initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Prioritization, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management are essential.
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, interacting effectively with managers and employees at all levels.
- Fluency in English.
- Able to operate independently and proactively with minimal supervision.
