Chief Operating Officer

As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee the strategic direction and operational execution of our global operations. This role is critical to ensuring seamless cross-border payments and driving business growth in dynamic markets.

The Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for leading distributed teams, scaling operations globally, and improving payment performance metrics. They must have expertise in local regulators, financial partners, and emerging markets dynamics. Additionally, they should possess a strategic mindset with executional rigor and comfort with ambiguity.

A successful candidate will also have experience in high-growth fintechs, payments, or global ops, as well as a proven track record improving payments metrics. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Drive payment performance: increase approval rates, reduce fraud, and improve SLAs.
  • Lead client support operations with a focus on scalability and automation.
  • Partner with Technology teams to ensure platform evolution.
  • Ensure risk, compliance, and regulatory alignment across markets.
Requirements
  • Executive experience in high-growth fintechs, payments, or global ops.
  • Expertise in leading distributed teams and scaling operations globally.
  • Proven track record improving payments metrics (approval rates, fraud, NPS).
  • Experience with local regulators, financial partners, and emerging markets dynamics.
  • Cross-functional fluency (Product, Revenue, Risk, Tax, etc.).
  • Strategic mindset with executional rigor and comfort with ambiguity.
  • English fluency required; Spanish and/or Portuguese strongly preferred.
