Procurement Leader for Strategic Category Management

The ideal candidate will lead and develop category strategies to ensure the strategic sourcing and supplier management of safes, money processing equipment, and ATMs. This role will drive cost savings, optimize supplier performance, and ensure alignment between procurement strategies and business objectives.

This leader will partner with cross-functional stakeholders (business owners, Finance, Legal, etc.) to deliver value across the organization and support enhancement of the procurement function's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure category planning and execution to align with key priorities for category related spend across all geographies and business units.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with key suppliers while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Negotiate and implement global contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage supplier performance to improve quality, delivery, cost, and innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with business owners, finance, legal, and other relevant departments to understand needs, manage risk, and optimize sourcing processes.
  • Serve as a key advisor to procurement leadership on all matters related to sourcing, including risk management, technology trends, and category strategy.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure sourcing initiatives meet the company's digital transformation objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience managing large, complex supplier relationships across multiple regions.
  • Strong knowledge of Capital and/or equipment sourcing, with experience in parts and services a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and driving cost savings.
