About the Role:

The organization seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead its financial planning, budgeting, and reporting functions. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with expertise in strategic financial management to drive transparency, efficiency, and credibility in the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Policy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure sound financial management practices.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage the development of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Oversee bookkeeping, accounting, and compliance with relevant local regulations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Grant Applications and Donor Reporting: Support grant applications and donor reporting with accurate financial data to enhance fundraising efforts.
  • Financial Strategy and Resource Allocation: Advise the Executive Director on financial strategy and resource allocation to optimize organizational performance.

Requirements:

  • A background in finance, accounting, or economics (CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred but not required).
  • Proven experience in financial management, ideally in the non-profit or social impact sector.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Familiarity with fundraising models, donor relations, and grant management a plus.
