We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Database Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team, you will be responsible for helping Startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Thought Leadership: Become a trusted business advisor within customer accounts, interacting with CxO/VP level executives, developers, and technical architects to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
- Program Development: Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels, to create solutions that solve customer problems.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans.
- GTM Strategy: Own the GTM strategy and execution for AWS Database in [Startup US West], collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
