Global Mobility Expert

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Global Mobility Specialist, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end mobility lifecycle processes independently. This includes developing process maps to gain efficiency and implementing risk-based governance triggers into daily workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Execution & Compliance
    - Process Management/redesign:
    * Develop 'as-is' → 'to-be' process maps under guidance to gain efficiency
    * Implement risk-based governance triggers into daily workflows (e.g., automated expiry alerts)
    * Track regulatory changes and implement risk-mitigation protocols for home and host country visa immigration, tax, social security, compensation benefits compliance
    * Prepare monthly compliance dashboards for leadership review.
  • Change Management Support
    - Stakeholder Coordination:
    * Partner with HRBPs, Tax, legal and Payroll teams to operationalize mobility policy updates
    * Roll out communication plans (FAQs, training) for process changes and address employee resistance
    * Gather assignee input to refine support resources (onboarding kits, digital guides)
  • Digital & Data-Driven Operations
    - Tool Utilization:
    * Leverage mobility platform to automate process, assignee interfaces, expense tracking, and document collection
    * Monitor assignment costs/compliance metrics to identify execution bottlenecks
    * Update real-time reports on case statuses and SLA adherence.
  • Employee Experience & Support
    - Primary Contact:
    * Resolve complex mobility inquiries independently for assignees and business travellers
    * Manage immigration lawyers/relocation services in priority regions (China, Brazil, Middle East)
    * Maintain self-service tools for common relocation scenarios

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, 5 years+ of experience in global mobility operations with hands-on lifecycle process execution, fluency in English and Mandarin preferred, and GMS or process automation credentials preferred. Proven ability to manage operational workflows with minimal supervision, support policy rollouts, address team resistance, execute communication plans.
