Senior Financial Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our Brazil operation.
Job Overview- Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure compliance with Brazilian tax laws, accounting standards (BR GAAP), and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to drive local audit processes.
- Optimize tax regimes, including potential transition to Lucro Real and transfer pricing considerations.
- Own financial reporting and regulatory submissions for Brazil, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement and optimize finance systems and integrations, such as Conta Azul or similar tools.
- Support global finance and executive teams to inform decision-making and reporting.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks while driving long-term scalability in the region.
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, or audit – ideally in a Big 4 firm.
- Strong command of Brazilian tax legislation, compliance, and Lucro Real regime.
- Previous experience in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments.
- Hands-on expertise in improving financial processes and systems.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting/ERP platforms (Conta Azul experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.
