The Network Capacity Manager plays a critical role in the organization, responsible for managing network capacity and ensuring efficient movement of goods. This position requires strong analytical skills to develop short and mid-term capacity plans that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze transportation data, trends, and forecasts to optimize transportation networks, modes, lanes, and facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand capacity requirements and develop integrated logistics solutions.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including throughput utilization, empty miles, and truck asset utilization.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Transportation Engineering.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems, productive dynamics, and data analysis tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its applications in logistics and supply chain management.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese languages.
This role involves a dynamic balance of tactical and strategic planning, diving deep into operational details when necessary. The Capacity Manager ensures the smooth and cost-effective movement of goods to meet delivery goals.
