Job Opportunity:

We seek an expert in seismic data analysis to contribute to our team's mission of delivering high-quality results to clients and shaping decisions across energy and earth-data projects.

As a geophysicist, you will be responsible for performing seismic interpretation, including horizon picking and velocity scenario creation, as well as integrating geological and geophysical data for deeper insights.

You will work closely with our Processing and VMB teams, collaborating on complex challenges and driving innovation in seismic imaging.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in seismic interpretation, exploration geology, stratigraphy, or basin analysis, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform seismic interpretation, including horizon picking (unconformities, salt horizons, pre-salt);
  • Create local velocity scenarios;
  • Apply imaging tools, workflows, and data QC (attributes, velocities, maps);
  • Integrate geological and geophysical data for deeper insights;
Qualifications:
  • Master's or PhD in Geophysics, Geology, or related field; or equivalent professional experience in the Oil & Gas industry;
  • Solid background in seismic interpretation, exploration geology, stratigraphy, or basin analysis;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset;
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English;
